Jamie's 200km Run!
What could possess a man to run from NSW to Caloundra in just 48 hours?
Jamie Milne is no stranger to a tough childhood. The world class endurance athlete and Inclusive Kids warrior grew up struggling with homelessness, at times begging for a bite of a stranger’s sandwich.
In the decades since, life has done a 180 and Jamie is now a multiple Guinness World Record holder, successful business owner, author and in demand speaker.
Jamie’s 200km Run – Thanks to ARB Maroochydore
Jamie hasn’t forgotten his struggle. On November 13 he’ll run from Captain Cook Memorial and Lighthouse, Tweed Heads NSW to the start of the Kicks 4 Kids walk in Caloundra. That’s a lazy 200km in 48 hours (with a 30k walk as a warm down).
Why does he do it?
Jamie recognises he is in a position to raise awareness of local kids who are victims of circumstance, just as he was all those years ago.
How can you help?
Just $25 buys a pair of school shoes for a local kid.
Why shoes?
Without them (and many other things) there’s no school and education/community connection is the most effective way at lifting these kids out of their situation.
Donations are fully tax deductible and unlike Jamie, you won’t get any blisters.
