What Services do we provide?

The Inclusive Kids - Information and Referral Service is a seperate service to our community grants fund but is an equally important initiative of IFYS Ltd.

IFYS Ltd works closely with other non-government and government agencies throughout numerous locations in Queensland.

The Inclusive Kids - Information and Referral Service aims to facilitate partnership resourcing within the community to meet the needs of families and operates to provide a service that meets the needs of each child and their family in an environment which enhances independence and increases inclusion within the community of their choice. We do this through:

Provision of an information resource centre
Advice and support for families with a child who has a disability
Advocacy support
Referrals
Swim program – a learn to swim club for children with disabilities and their families that provides lesson at the same time as fun for the whole family
Recreation and leisure opportunities and links
Support groups
Community connections – linking you to the resources within the community and other families in similar situations

How do we do this?

The Inclusive Kids - Information and Referral Service prides itself on being a personalised welcoming service that accepts the value and importance of families.
A coordinator will talk with you about what your family’s needs are and how to go about having those needs met.
