Applying for a grant from the Fund
Grant Application Closing Dates
Grant applications will be accepted at any time and will be assessed at the next available board meeting of the Inclusive Kids Community Grants Fund Reference Board for consideration of funding.
Grant Application Assessment Process
All grants and sponsorship applications received by Inclusive Kids are assessed by all available board members and recommendations for all funding are presented to the chairperson of Inclusive Kids Community Grants Fund for his/her approval.
If considered relevant, some applications may be assessed by external parties who have skills and professional expertise that adds beneficially to the assessment process.
Inclusive Kids Community Grants Fund Administration
Perceptions of where a charity's money goes and how it is spent are important and significant issues for many donors. IFYS Ltd is all too aware of this and feels that it has both a financial and moral responsibility to ensure that money goes where it should.
Whilst a charity cannot exist without sound administrative systems and support, it is imperative to recognise that costs should be kept as low as possible so that the maximum amount of money goes to where it is needed – the cause for which the charity operates.
To this end, IFYS Ltd is committed to ensuring administration of any donation provided to the Inclusive Kids Community Grants Fund via community donation does not exceed 15% and IFYS Ltd will provide full secretariat functions of the Fund for the first 12 months without cost (Until December 2011). This will ensure that administrative costs are kept as low as possible and that the maximum percentage of income goes towards grant allocation.

IFYS enlists the services of independent auditors and we abide by the guidelines and the recommendations endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office.
We have Endorsement for Deductible Gift Recipient Status so that donations over $2.00 will be tax-deductible.
